Bringing real Korean BBQ to a brand-new audience

Ong Ga Nae is a Korean BBQ restaurant known for premium cuts, generous banchan, and authentic Korean dining. With a strong Korean-American customer base already in place, the next opportunity was to expand visibility beyond its existing audience and reach new local diners.

The Problem

Ong Ga Nae had strong word-of-mouth within the Korean-American community, but limited visibility outside of it. The brand needed a stronger online presence that could translate its food quality into a clear, shareable story for new audiences.

Our Solution

We identified an untapped opportunity with the local Chinese-American dining community and built a content and influencer strategy around it. The goal was to introduce Ong Ga Nae through the right creators, languages, and platforms — especially Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu.

We produced social-first photo and video content highlighting Ong Ga Nae’s premium cuts, table-side grilling, banchan, and dining experience. Each asset was designed for short-form platforms and adapted for multiple audiences.

Social Media Management

We managed Ong Ga Nae’s social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Chinese-language platforms with a consistent posting strategy. Bilingual content helped the brand connect with Korean-American, Chinese-American, and English-speaking diners at the same time.

Influencer Marketing

We partnered with Korean-American and Chinese-language creators to introduce Ong Ga Nae to new communities. One campaign gained strong traction and brought in a noticeable wave of new Chinese-American diners, creating momentum that continued through follow-up collaborations.

We built a cleaner, more polished website that better showcased Ong Ga Nae’s food, menu, and dining experience while making key restaurant information easier to access.

Ong Ga Nae reached new audiences beyond its original customer base, with stronger visibility and increased foot traffic from the local Chinese-American dining community.
